About Baaghi 2 Movie
Baaghi 2 is a 2018 Hindi remake of the 2016 Telugu blockbuster “Kshanam”. Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 2 traces the story of Captain Ranveer Singh to find his ex-girlfriend’s kidnapped daughter Rhea. The movie is the second installment in the Baaghi franchise and is succeeded by Baaghi 3. Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani star as the lead roles in the movie. Overall, the movie was deemed as a huge box-office success and was the seventh highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2018.

Baaghi 2 Story
The film starts with a scene wherein a woman called Neha incurs a sudden attack. When she comes back to her senses, she looks around for her daughter, Rhea but doesn’t find her. In a helpless state, she calls up her former boyfriend Captain Ranveer, Ronnie. Then the movie takes us back a few years where we see Neha and Ronnie as college students. Soon they become lovers and decide to get married. On the day of their wedding, Neha’s father suffers from a heart attack. Neha’s father, Mahendra asks her to marry his friend’s son Shekhar instead of Ronnie. This was Mahendra’s last wish, hence, Neha obliged.
The Baaghi 2 story brings us back to the present scenario, where Ronnie meets Neha at a restaurant and she reveals whatever has happened and asks Ronnie to find Rhea. Ronnie and Neha file go to file an FIR, but the inspector Sharad behaves inappropriately. So, Ronnie loses his mind and beats him up which in turn lands Ronnie behind bars. Later, Ronnie is released by Sharad Kutey’s boss.
Then Ronnie and Neha go to her apartment where we meet Sunny, Neha’s drug-abusing brother-in-law. Then Ronnie begins his chase for clues, but whoever he asks reports that Neha and Shekhar had no daughter. Rhea is not even found in the CCTV footage. An anonymous man gives Ronnie Rhea’s photos and other documents. Neha’s husband Shekhar tells Ronnie that she had a miscarriage and then developed PTSD to end up thinking that she had a non-existent daughter.
Ronnie informs Neha about all of this, but Neha doesn’t agree on this and claims that everyone is going against her. Ronnie notices Rhea’s height growth marks on the wall. Then he faces a lot of self-doubts. Meanwhile, Neha commits suicide.
A man called Usman confesses to Ronnie that he had seen Rhea with Sunny. Ronnie gets to know that Sunny has been taken in custody. Later, it is revealed that Shekhar himself had planned the kidnapping since he hated Rhea. Ronnie fights his way to find Rhea and ends up knowing that Rhea is his daughter as Ronnie and Neha had consummated their relationship 4 years ago and also, Shekhar was sterile.
Shekhar confesses everything to Inspector Loha and the film ends with Ronnie beginning a new life with his daughter Rhea and his former lover Neha’s sweet memories.

Baaghi 2 had been one of the highest-grossing movies of 2018. However, it didn’t receive quite positive reviews.
